Wenatchee AppleSox Baseball Club

Wenatchee finished the season number 6 in the end-of-season rankings, compiled by Allan Simpson of Perfect Game USA.  The Sox, who won the West Coast League Championship August 18th, finished 41 and 19 for the season.

Perfect Game called the Sox season a “mastery of the West Coast League”.  They also listed right handed pitcher James Kaprelian from UCLA as their top AppleSox prospect for the season, describing him as “dominant as prep talent in WCL; with excellent command of solid fastball/curve mix, plus great presence.”          

Perfect Game researched 25 summer collegiate leagues from around the country.  Other West Coast League teams in the national listing included Corvallis at #21 and the Bellingham Bells at #39.
