AppleSox Advance to WCL Championship Series

WCL_Championship_Series(8/12/10)-The defending West Coast League Champions are heading back to the WCL Championship Series. The AppleSox swept the Kelowna Falcons in the first round of the playoffs and will move on to their third straight WCL Championship Series appearance. The AppleSox opponent will be the Bend Elks, who swept the Corvallis Knights in the West Division Playoffs. The AppleSox and the Elks split the season series, going 3-3 against each other.

The AppleSox will have home field advantage in the series. Game one will be in Bend on Saturday, August 14th. First pitch is set for 6:35 pm and AppleSox fans can catch all the action on 560 KPQ or online on www.kpq.com. The series will then move back to Wenatchee on Monday, August 16th for game two. If necessary, game three will be in Wenatchee on Tuesday, August 17th. First pitch for game two and if necessary game three is at 7:05 pm.
