(8/16/10)-The AppleSox return home Monday night to try to capture the 2010 West Coast League Championship. After winning game one of the series in Bend 4-2, the AppleSox have a chance to win the title in front of their home fans in the best-of-three game series. First pitch is set for 7:05 pm and fans can buy tickets online now by clicking here or before the game at the gate when doors open at 6:00 pm. If game three is necessary, it will be Tuesday night in Wenatchee at 7:05 pm.
The AppleSox will send lefty Marco Gonzales to the hill. The Gonzaga recruit fresh out of high school has a 6-1 record this summer and led the West Coast League in strikeouts during the regular season. The Elks will counter with another lefty Ben Guidos. The junior from the University of Washington is 3-2 and led the West Coast League in complete games with three.
