Wenatchee AppleSox Baseball Club

The AppleSox made their way north of the border to begin a three-game series with the Kelowna Falcons. The AppleSox picked up the game one victory thanks to solid pitching from three Lower Columbia College Red Devils. Tim Culligan picked up his third win of the year and was followed by Todd Griffiths and Jeff Ames who combined to throw four scoreless innings in relief.

Wenatchee will start Scotty Burris in game two of the series on Saturday night. First pitch is at 7:05 pm at Elks Stadium. The AppleSox will turn to Michael McIver on the final game of the series Sunday which is at 6:05 pm.
