WENATCHEE WINS PLAYOFF GAME NUMBER ONE!

The Wenatchee AppleSox held off a ninth inning rally by Corvallis to hang on and beat the Knights 9 to 8 in West Coast League championship series play Wednesday night.  The Sox return to Wenatchee to host Corvallis for game #2 of the best-of-three series on Friday.

The first pitch Friday is scheduled for 7:05.  Plenty of great seating is available for the contest and tickets will go on sale when the gates open at 6 PM.  That is the only place tickets will be available for playoff games.

If a third game is needed to determine the league champion, that game will be played Saturday in Wenatchee at 7:05.
