AppleSox Open Final Regular Season HomestandPosted by ffadmin in Untagged |

The AppleSox are back at home to begin the final regular season homestand of the year. The team will face both the Kelowna Falcons (Tuesday-Thursday) and the Bellingham Bells (Friday-Sunday) to wrap up the regular season at home.
While on the road for a six-game swing, the AppleSox wrapped up first place in the West Coast League’s East Division and home field advantage in the first round of the playoffs. The AppleSox will open the playoffs at either Bellingham or Walla Walla on Friday, August 12th. The team will host a home playoff game on Saturday, August 13th at 7:05 pm at Paul Thomas Sr. Field. If necessary game three of the Divisional Round will take place at Paul Thomas Sr. Field on Sunday, August 14th.
Against the Falcons the AppleSox will send Scott Simon to the mound on Tuesday, followed by Phillip Ferragamo and Alex Phillips to wrap up the series on Thursday. First pitch for the first five games of the homestand is set for 7:05 pm, while the finally regular season home game of the 2011 season will start at 6:05 pm on Sunday, August 7th.
