WSU needed a rally in the bottom of the 8th inning to pull out the 8-5 victory over Seattle University in the Cross State Showdown presented by Gesa Credit Union. 1,353 fans were on hand to see Wenatchee's first ever Division I baseball game.  Paris Shewey, who helped led the AppleSox to the 2009 WCL Championship, picked up the victory for WSU.
