(8/7/10)-The AppleSox have locked up a spot in the 2010 West Coast League Playoffs. For the third straight season the AppleSox are the WCL's East Division Champions and will have home field advantage in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. Also for the third straight season the AppleSox will face the Kelowna Falcons in the first round of the playoffs. The AppleSox have swept the Falcons to advance to the WCL Championship Series the last two seasons.
The AppleSox will have at least one more home game this season, Game 2 of the Divisional Round of the playoffs against Kelowna will be in Wenatchee on Wednesday, August 11th at 7:05 pm. Tickets for the playoff game are now available online and can purchased by clicking here.
8/6/10)-The AppleSox are in Bend to finish up the regular season against the Elks. The AppleSox will start the final series of the regular season on Friday at Vince Genna Stadium. First pitch is set for 6:35 pm on Friday and Saturday. The final game of the regular season on Sunday will begin at 5:05 pm
(8/3/10)-The AppleSox are hitting the road to begin their longest road trip of the season. The six-day road swing will begin on Tuesday in Kitsap. The AppleSox will play a three-game series with the BlueJackets, who took two out of three from Wenatchee in the opening home series of the season. First pitch for all three games in Kitsap is set for 7:05 pm.
The AppleSox are on the road to make their first ever trip to Cowlitz to take on the Black Bears. The AppleSox come into the series with a 22-14 record and a six-game lead for first place in the East Division. All three-games of the series start at 6:35 pm. The AppleSox will give Zack Weiss his first start of season on Tuesday, Marco Gonzales will start on Wednesday, and Tim Culligan will wrap up the series on Thursday.
After taking the series from the Cowlitz Black Bears on the road, the AppleSox are back at home tonight to start a three-game series with the Corvallis Knights. The final home series of the regular season will be a rematch of the last two West Coast League Championship Series. The AppleSox fell to the Knights in 2008, but swept Corvallis to capture the 2009 title. The AppleSox enter the series with a seven-game lead in the East Division, while the Knights come to town the top team in the West Division.


The AppleSox are back in action at home beginning tonight after taking two out of three games north of the border against the Kelowna Falcons. Wenatchee enters the two-game non-league series with the Portland Toros in first place in the West Coast League’s East Division. The AppleSox enter the non-league series with a three-game lead in the division over the second place Moses Lake Pirates and a five-game lead over the third place Kelowna Falcons. First pitch for both Tuesday and Wednesday night is set for 7:05 pm.
