(8/18/10)- The Wenatchee AppleSox beat the Bend Elks last night 6-5 to capture the 2010 West Coast League Championship. Zach Gallagher got the win and Jeff Ames picked up the save, while Kalei Hanawahine came through with a huge three-run homer to tie the game at 5-5. It's the AppleSox second straight WCL Championship and fourth in the last six years.
