After splitting both regular season series, it was only expected that the best-of-three divisional series between the Wenatchee AppleSox and Bellingham Bells would require all three games to declare a champion.

The Bells took Game 1 in Bellingham to open the divisional round after Adam Gunn tossed a five-hit, complete game shutout, but the Sox answered back in a must-win game last night, winning 4-1. The two teams have now split the season series at five games apiece -- so it's only appropriate for it to come down to one game to decide who goes on to the league championship series.

After the Bells pushed Wenatchee's season to the brink, there is still baseball to be played in Wenatchee after all. The winner of tonight's contest will square off against West Division Champion Corvallis on Wendesday.

The game tonight between Wenatchee and Bellingham will be played at 7:05 PM PST at Paul Thomas, Sr. Baseball Stadium. Tickets are available here and will also be sold at the stadium's ticket booth, which opens an hour and five minutes prior to game time.
