The AppleSox mascot Coyote has been selected as the Grand Marshal for the Apple Blossom Youth Parade presented by Keyes Fibre. The parade begins at 11:00 AM this Saturday and starts at Triangle Park and ends at Fifth Street.

Coyote will be joined by the Sports and Fitness Outlet Bat Kids, who will ride along with him in the Youth Parade.

Coyote has been the team’s mascot since making his debut in 2001. When he is not out at the ballpark cheering on the AppleSox, he enjoys meeting fans of all ages at different community events.

It will be a busy weekend for Coyote, who will also be at the Pepsi-Cola Youth Day on Sunday, May 1. The free event starts at 11:00 AM at Memorial Park.
