The AppleSox, who have won eight of their last nine games, are back at home tonight to start a two-game non-league series with the Portland Stars. The Stars are a member of the West Coast League-Portland, a developmental league for the WCL. The AppleSox are fresh off of a sweep of the Cowlitz Black Bears as they head into the non-league series with the best record in the West Coast League at 11-4.
