The AppleSox complete head to Bellingham to complete the road trip with a three-game series against the Bells. Wenatchee comes into the series fresh off a sweep of the Kitsap BlueJackets and with a WCL best 33-9 record.
It will be the first time this year that the AppleSox will face the Bells. Bellingham is currently in second place in the East Division, but has a mere one game lead on the Walla Walla Sweets. The AppleSox have already wrapped up first place the East Division and secured a playoff spot for the fourth straight season.
Owen Jones will look for his WCL record seventh win of the summer on Saturday night. Aaron Brooks will toe the rubber Sunday and Monday’s starter is TBA. First pitch on Saturday and Monday is set for 7:05 pm from Joe Martin Field, while Sunday’s game will begin at 6:05 pm. Fans can catch all the action on 560 KPQ or listen online at www.kpq.com
