Summer collegiate baseball returns to the Apple Capital as the Wenatchee AppleSox open the 2011 season Friday, June 3rd with a three-game home series against the Kitsap BlueJackets. First pitch on Friday and Saturday is set for 7:05 pm and the series will conclude with a 6:05 pm start on Sunday.

After a day off on Monday, the opening home stand continues Tuesday, June 7^th with a three-game series against the Kelowna Falcons. Tickets for any of the upcoming games can be purchased in advance at the Town Toyota Center Box Office or online by clicking here. They can also be purchased the day of the game at the ballpark ticket booth, which opens an hour before each game.

Opening night will be the AppleSox first game back at Paul Thomas Sr. Field since capturing the 2010 West Coast League Championship in a thrilling come-from-behind victory over the Bend Elks in the deciding game of the series. It was the team’s second straight WCL Championship, and fourth in the last six years.
