|
The AppleSox will put their division lead on the line as they begin a three-game series tonight with the Moses Lake Pirates. First pitch for all three games at Paul Thomas Sr. Field is set for 7:05 pm. After a hot start, the AppleSox busted out of their recent slump by taking the series from the Walla Walla Sweets over the weekend. The AppleSox (14-11) enter the series with a 1.5 game lead over the second place Pirates (12-12).
The series will include great events every night at the ballpark. Tuesday night is Make a Splash-Dunk Your Mayor Night sponsored by Washington Trust Bank. Fans will have the chance to dunk Wenatchee Mayor Dennis Johnson and East Wenatchee Mayor Steve Lacy to help raise funds for the Wenatchee Valley YWCA. Wednesday night Cherry Creek Radio will be hosting a gear drive and broadcasting live before the game. Fans are encouraged to bring gently used or new baseball gear that will be donated to the NCW Fall Ball Association. Finally Thursday will be the annual Mascot Night sponsored by Dr. Cara Schroeder, Children`s Dentistry. Coyote has invited all his fellow mascot friends who will be out in full force at Paul Thomas Sr. Field Thursday night.
