Help send your favorite AppleSox player to the 2011 West Coast League All-Star Game. For the first time WCL history, fans will get to select one member of their team to play in the All-Star Game. Below is a poll that includes the name of some of the AppleSox top performers this season. If you would like to write in a vote for a player that is not listed, email your vote to info@applesox.com.

After a two-season hiatus, the 2011 WCL All-Star Game will be held at Goss Stadium in Corvallis, Oregon on Tuesday, July 26.

A home run derby featuring the WCL's top sluggers will be held prior to the game. Immediately following the All-Star Game fans will enjoy a spectacular fireworks show.

The West Coast League previously held All-Star Games in Wenatchee (2006), Bellingham (2007) and Moses Lake (2008). The inaugural All-Star Game hosted by the AppleSox in 2006 was a memorable event. A crowd of 1,083 at Paul Thomas Sr. Field watched future major leaguers Marc Rzepczynski of the Toronto Blue Jays and Eric Sogard of the Oakland A's play in the game that ended in a 6-6 tie.

Wenatchee skipper Ed Knaggs coached the East All-Stars which featured Tom Milone, Nick Haughian, and Hawkins Gebbers from the AppleSox, who are all current pros. The festivities also included special appearances by former Mariner John Olerud and legendary Washington State baseball coach Bobo Brayton.
