A mainstay in the rankings throughout the summer, the team was ranked every week of the poll and on two occasions climbed as high as the #3 spot. Wenatchee set the West Coast League record for most regular season wins with 39, but suffered an early exit after falling to the Walla Walla Sweets in the playoffs. The Corvallis Knights were the highest ranked team from the WCL. The 2011 WCL Champions earned the #6 spot in country. Both the Bend Elks and the Cowlitz Black Bears earned honorable mention. The AppleSox finished the 2011 season as the #11 ranked summer collegiate baseball team in the country in Perfect Game CrossChecker’s last poll. The ranking is an improvement from last season, when the team finished as the #17 team in the country after winning the WCL Championship.On Deck
