The AppleSox, who have won eight of their last nine games, are back at home tonight to start a two-game non-league series with the Portland Stars. The Stars are a member of the West Coast League-Portland, a developmental league for the WCL. The AppleSox are fresh off of a sweep of the Cowlitz Black Bears as they head into the non-league series with the best record in the West Coast League at 11-4. The Kitsap BlueJackets will be in town for a three game weekend schedule beginning with the home opener of the 2010 season tonight. First pitch for all three games, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, will be at 7:05 PM.

The AppleSox are excited to announce a new sponsorship agreement with Bob’s Classic as the new post-game headquarters for AppleSox fans. The restaurant will offer specially priced appetizers and $.99 domestic beers for fans wearing AppleSox apparel or that bring an AppleSox ticket after any home game. Kids can also eat free off the kids menu before home games, one child per adult.
