The AppleSox have earned national recognition after winning their second straight West Coast League Championship. The final rankings of the top 30 summer league teams for 2010 from PG CrossChecker had the AppleSox as the No. 17th ranked team in the country.

It is the second straight summer that the AppleSox earned a top 30 ranking from PG CrossChecker at the end of the season. The AppleSox improved upon their ranking last season when they finished ranked 25^th in the country.

The AppleSox beat the Bend Elks in three games to capture the 2010 West Coast League Championship. Over 42,000 fans came to Paul Thomas Sr. Field this year to watch the AppleSox capture their fourth WCL Championship in six years.
