Rules at the Ballpark

To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and family-friendly experience for all guests, the following policies are enforced at Paul Thomas Sr. Stadium.

General Safety

  • Thrown bats and thrown or batted balls leaving the field can be dangerous. Please stay alert at all times during the game.

  • Weapons of any kind are not permitted in the ballpark.

  • Bags, backpacks, and similar items are subject to reasonable search prior to entry. Guests who refuse inspection may be denied entry.

  • AppleSox players and authorized personnel are allowed on the field and to run in the ballpark — fans (including children) are not permitted to run on the concourse or enter the field at any time.

Tobacco & Smoking Policy

  • Smoking or vaping of any kind is not permitted anywhere in the ballpark or on Wenatchee Valley College’s campus.

  • The use of chewing tobacco is also prohibited.

Alcohol Policies

  • Guests must present valid identification to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages.

  • Alcohol sales will stop immediately after the first pitch of the top of the eighth inning.

  • Alcohol-free family seating is available in the bleacher section directly behind home plate. No beer, wine, or spirits are allowed in the Positive Life Radio Family Zone.

Outside Food & Beverage / Prohibited Items

  • Guests may not bring the following items into the ballpark:

  • Outside food or beverages (exception: empty reusable water bottle)

  • Alcoholic beverages or controlled substances

  • Fireworks, horns, whistles, or artificial noisemakers

  • Laser pointers

  • Ice chests, coolers, or beverage containers

  • Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, rollerblades

  • Any item deemed dangerous or disruptive to the game or other fans

Children & Guest Safety

  • Children under the age of 12 leaving the ballpark must be accompanied by an adult.

  • If you need assistance in arranging a ride home from the ballpark, please inform an AppleSox staff member.

Payment Methods

  • Paul Thomas Sr. Stadium accepts both cash and credit/debit cards at all locations throughout the ballpark, including concessions, merchandise, and ticketing.

Animals

  • Except for certified service animals, pets or animals are not allowed in the ballpark.

Fan Conduct

The AppleSox organization is committed to providing a safe, family-friendly environment for all guests. Disorderly conduct will not be permitted, including but not limited to:

  • Inappropriate language or gestures

  • Disruptive behavior

  • Public intoxication

  • Interference with the game

  • Any behavior that impacts other fans’ ability to enjoy the game

Guests who do not comply with staff requests or continue disorderly behavior may be asked to leave the ballpark without a refund.

Re-Entry Policy

  • Re-entry to the ballpark is not permitted without permission from AppleSox staff.

Ballpark Courtesy

  • Please be courteous to other fans by walking behind the bleachers when heading to concessions or restrooms.

  • Please help us keep the college campus clean by picking up trash after the game and using garbage receptacles.
