Jose Oglesby - Owner
Jose is a lifelong baseball fan who grew up in Colombia and the Panama Canal Zone listening from far away to MLB radio broadcasts. After coming to the United States, he got the chance to attend hundreds of major and minor league games in person over the years.
He is married to Lauren Feaux, a former software engineer, current special education paraprofessional and special education advocate. They are the parents of Jesse, a student in the Excel program at Georgia Tech, and Roxanne, a freshman at Harvey Mudd College this fall. He has learned a lot from Jesse and Roxanne about following your dreams and persevering. Through Jesse, he became involved in Special Olympics as a soccer coach and volunteer.
He also has an interest in baseball statistics and their use to improve team performance. After a long career in software engineering including 26 years at Microsoft, he is realizing a lifelong dream by operating the AppleSox franchise. His goal is to continue the team’s tradition of excellence on the field, customer service, and community involvement.
