Host Families

HOST PARENT APPLICATION FORM

Do you have an extra bed room and want to have a baseball player to root for all summer? Consider becoming an AppleSox host parent!

HOME FOR THE SUMMER: AppleSox players from around the country stay in the homes of local families during the season, which runs from early June through mid-August. The players are terrific role models for kids in youth baseball programs. They can also be helpful around the house for senior citizens. We consider the AppleSox players to be a real asset to our community during the summer.

BENEFITS: Our host parents are a huge part of our team and we show our gratitude in several ways…

  • Free season tickets. You can cheer on your player at every game!

  • Invitation to the annual host family appreciation dinner.

  • Free registration for host family children to the AppleSox youth instructional clinics.

  • Recognized on field at the final regular season home game.

  • Gain lifelong relationships!

REQUIREMENTS: All we ask of AppleSox host parents is to have an extra room and bed in their home and to live in Wenatchee or a neighboring town. The AppleSox play almost every day during the summer and are on the road for half the season.
