EFFICIENCY AT ITS FINEST

FAST WORK ON THE ORCHARD
At County Stadium (nicknamed the Orchard), the AppleSox have played the last four meetings with the Pippins in an average of two hours and 13 minutes each...last night’s game totaled two hours and 28 minutes.

PIPPINS RECENT SUCCESS
Currently the AppleSox series with the Yakima Valley Pippins is tilted the Pippins’ direction...Yakima Valley has won 7 of the last 10 meetings between the two teams...Wenatchee started with a 6-1 lead in the all-time series and now trails 16-12.

MCCORD MAKING HIS MARK
Connor McCord’s last start was against the Cowlitz Black Bears at Paul Thomas Sr. Stadium, July 13...he went seven innings and only gave up three hits, but was tabbed with a no-decision...the seven innings marked the longest start of the season for the sophomore left-hander.

JUST OUT-HIT ‘EM
The Wenatchee AppleSox are 16-0 this year when out-hitting their opponnent...the AppleSox were stifled last night in the first five innings, and only collected two hits off of Taylor Dollard.
