DOUBLEHEADER WITH PICKLES SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY

Due to rain postponing the original dates for all three games of the AppleSox' series with the Portland Pickles from June 8-10, the two teams will play a doubleheader on Thursday at Paul Thomas Sr. Stadium.

First pitch is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. The second game of the twin bill will take place approximately a half hour following the conclusion of Game 1. Both games will be seven innings instead of nine.

Tickets for Thursday's originally scheduled 7:05 p.m. game are valid for both games.

This will be the second doubleheader of the season between the AppleSox and the Pickles this season. As a makeup of the first two games of the series, the Pickles took both games on June 11 at Walker Stadium.

The AppleSox begin their post-All-Star Break schedule on Wednesday night with a 7:05 p.m. game against the Pickles for the series-opener. Tickets are available for purchase on applesox.com.

Before the game, AppleSox players and coaches will be appearing at Pybus Market from noon until 1 p.m. to sign team posters. Fans are encouraged to come out to meet the team and get their own free poster as a keepsake of the 2018 season. There is no cost to attend or get a poster.
